- Your personal data will be processed by EF both inside and outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland, primarily for the purpose of completing your booking or providing the products and services you have requested (including travel insurance coverage) and for customer service and marketing activities. As our servers are located in the USA, our sales teams operate from local offices around the world, our head office is located in Switzerland and the schools where students choose to take classes are located in local offices around the world, we may share your personal data with our affiliates, claims processors and business partners inside and outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland. When we offer the use of a conversational assistant in any of EF’s products trained with the latest AI technology, the questions you ask the assistant will be transmitted and permanently stored by the AI service provider, but will not be used to train or develop their AI models. Private conversations and personal data in the designated fields in the conversation will be stored by EF in the CRM system for marketing or customer service purposes. The business partners with whom we exchange information are only those who need access to personal information in order to process the requests you have posted on the Sites, such as assistance with transportation, accommodation or schools; they will therefore only receive the information necessary for this purpose. No business partner will receive your personal information for its own marketing purposes. Please note that EF processes your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection legislation. Security
We take reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect the personal information in our possession. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Also, we are not responsible for the data collection, use and disclosure policies and practices (including data security practices) of other organizations such as Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft, RIM or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer, including any personal information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Apps or Social Media Pages.

We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy.
Use of Sites by Minors
We offer children's programs that are purchased by adults. To protect children's privacy, we require parental consent from users who are under the age of majority in their country of residence and wish to make a reservation or request a brochure for one of these programs.
Sensitive information
We generally ask that you do not send or disclose to us any sensitive information (e.g., information relating to ethnic or racial origin, political opinions, religious or other beliefs, health or medical condition, criminal background or trade union membership) on or through the Sites or otherwise.
